MASSAGE THERAPIST PLATEAU

My interest in health started in 2008 when I was researching nutrition to improve my own health. Through this research I developed a passion for holistic approaches that integrate the biochemical (nutritional), emotional, biomechanical and energetic aspects of health. What sets me apart in my practice is that I give all of these aspects special attention as a therapist.

I began practicing Swedish massage after completing my training at the IKRA Academy of Massage Therapy in 2014. This wealth of experience makes me optimally skilled in helping with muscle tension and pain. Since then, I have added the following complementary techniques

Formations :

  • Fasciatherapy, levels 1, 2 and 3, 2016-17. This manual approach activates the body’s self-regulatory capacities. It is excellent for pain and inflammation. Oil-free technique.
  • Cranio-sacral therapy, levels 1 and 2, 2017. This manual therapy focuses primarily on the skull and attached structures. It is good for headaches and stress release. Oil-free technique.
  • Neuromuscular therapy, 2017. This massage therapy strives to untangle and untie trigger points. It helps to improve posture and unexplained stiffness. Oil-free technique.
  • Visceral therapy, 2017. This technique works on the organs to promote better function. It is good for digestion. Oil-free technique.
  • Kin-integrée, 2017. This method uses muscle testing to identify imbalances (biochemical, emotional, biomechanical or energetic) from the perspective of Chinese medicine. Oil-free technique.

During fasciatherapy training, I also learned an approach to harmonizing scar tissue. This method aims to promote local circulation and reduce adhesion, thus helping to restore the flexibility and the mobility of tissues.

My training in Chinese medicine gave me the opportunity to witness amazing results using acupressure points, a technique that is now among my therapeutic tools.

After practicing meditation for several years, I began to incorporate guided meditation into my relaxation massages and I immediately saw the benefits. My clients came out of their massages much more relaxed and rejuvenated. With my voice, I guide towards deeper relaxation, greater breathing amplitude and an awareness of the present moment.

My greatest pleasure as a therapist is in helping people reach their full potential for vitality and ability to thrive. I feel deeply satisfied when clients emerge from their first appointment saying to me: ”It’s already better!”
