OSTEOPATH D.O.

OSTEOPATH PLT
BACKGROUND
Since childhood, my gentle and empathetic personality has nourished my desire to help people around me. This has manifested itself in many ways in my life path.
My participation to two humanitarian aid trips in high school is a good example of this. These experiences ingrained in me values of mutual aid, teamwork and recognition. At the end of these two trips, I was convinced that I wanted to practice a profession that would allow me to connect with people and help them.
Passionate about the human body since a very young age, I made my introduction to the health field in 2013 by joining the respiratory therapy technique program at Cégep de Sainte-Foy. After graduating, my desire to deepen my understanding of the human body and to have a more personal approach adapted to patients led me to turn to osteopathy and join the Collège d’études ostéopathiques de Montréal.
During these 5 years at College, I redefined my vision of the concept of health and healing. In my opinion, you can suffer from a pathology or dysfunction and be healthy and comfortable in your body at the same time. I see osteopathy not as a way to “heal” people, but more as a tool that guides your body so that it returns to a state of health on its own. This is what we call in osteopathy: SELF-REGULATION.
If shown the right path, your body will find health!
SESSION
During an osteopathy session with me you can expect precise and gentle manipulations while respecting the tissues and your comfort.
Over the years, I have developed my palpatory sensitivity in order to be able to address different sensory levels. Thus I can evaluate and treat at the musculoskeletal, fluid, visceral and energetic level in order to find the primary cause of your pain and discomfort.
I adapt the techniques learned for each patient, ensuring that each treatment is unique and personalized to meet your ever-changing needs. Since each patient has a history and baggage that influences their health and their body differently, I try to see the Being in its entirety by also addressing the emotional aspect that accompanies pain. In my opinion, this approach allows for long-term results and prevents the appearance of further pain.
My main goal is to help you, through my treatments and advices, regain independent management of your health. I can support you for pain that appears following trauma as well as for pain that appears without known causes, digestion problems, headaches, anxiety, sleep disorders or simply to take care of your body and your Being.
APPROACH
My approach is suitable for all types of clients: athletes, elderly people, pregnant women, children, etc.
I have a particular interest in cardio-respiratory disorders (asthma, emphysema, heart failure, etc.) due to my knowledge acquired during my studies in respiratory therapy.
I look forward to meeting you and offering you a moment of relaxation!
