Kids and osteopathy

Osteopathy: a therapy and an assistance, walking in early childhood.

Osteopathy and Early Childhood

At the age of learning to walk, falls, even innocuous, can cause various disorders:

  • disturbed sleep
  • O.R.L. conditions
  • excitement, anger, nervousness
  • disturbed digestion, constipation
  • deviation of the spinal column
  • feet or knees badly positioned
  • etc…

Osteopathy is a therapy of choice to correct trauma sequelae.

Osteopathy and Tuition

The child described the school as “not holding up, dreamer, lacking concentration, dyslexia …” will find some help in the osteopathic treatment. This monitoring will allow him to relax, focus better and thus be more attentive. Children are particularly receptive and sensitive to the comfort provided by the treatment. Academic difficulties will be more improved as treatment is early.

Osteopathy and spine

Static childhood disorders (scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis) are a sign of poor adaptation of the body. The causes that can be visceral, traumatic, cranial, shall be determined by osteopathic diagnosis. Adapted correction techniques  improve these spinal disorders. Collaboration with other health professions is sometimes necessary.

Osteopathy and orthodontics

Nowadays, we put more and more dental appliances and many orthodontists work with osteopaths for successful treatment and for the comfort of the child. The orthodontic appliance is based on the structures of the skull to pry the jaw and teeth.

These stresses can cause:

  • headache, back pain
  • dizziness
  • visual disturbances
  • difficulty concentrating
  • changes in mood

Regular follow osteopathic during dental care is needed to overcome these evils, control and guide the reactions of the head and body.

In all cases, learn to observe your child and listen. Repeated complaint should alert you.
