BACKGROUND

Late fifties, my hands found their way

I recently graduated from the Ikra Academy of Massage Therapy in Swedish massage, I am convinced of being on my “X” with this new path which complements a rich and varied life’s journey.  My training ensures that I will offer you a relaxing massage that can be personalized to relieve specific pains or tensions.  At each appointment we will assess your expectations and needs, being attentive to you is my priority.

 

MY COLOR

For me, a good massage is comforting, calming, regenerating, it releases tensions, enables mind and body connection and liberates the path of emotions to enhance your well-being. 

I am passionate about the life stages humans experiment from birth to death, the important moments that mark our path through-out our journey in this world. I am especially sympathetic to parenthood, the welcoming of a fragile newborn and the impact of this new life on the parents. Mom and dad’s can greatly benefit from a massage in the first months of this life change; lessened fatigue, improvement of sleep quality, reduced muscle tension, a moment of peace and comfort, an hour to think about yourself, reduce anxiety, improve concentration and serenely connect with your new social role. For the mother, the massage will also allow her to reclaim her body and quietly find her new physical and psychological balance. 

My thirst of knowledge has led me to pursue my studies in perinatal care and deepen my expertise in this field.

 

THE MAGICAL MASSAGE!

Did you know that massage therapy offers the power to regulate and modify our hormonal levels, the chemistry that animates our body?  A massage favors the flow of endorphins, serotonin and dopamine, hormones that are known to enable well-being, calm, joy, enthusiasm, better concentration and reduced irritability. In addition, Swedish massage helps decrease the level of cortisol, the stress hormone.
