Notice regarding Osteopathic services
Effective immediately, manual osteopathy services are now subject to service taxes. This change is the result of a directive from the Canada Revenue Agency (Excise and GST/HST News - No 108) also adopted by Revenu Québec.
Notice regarding reimbursements by certain insurance companies
Most private insurance companies cover the services offered by the Altermed clinic. We strongly suggest that you check your policy before a first consultation with your therapist to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Ex: Osteopaths I.O. or FRT are not covered by Medavie Blue Cross or Canada Life (Greatwest)
The status of therapists is indicated on their profile pages.
