FIELDS OF PRACTICE

 

For pregnant women

  • Pain in the following areas: back, pelvis, pubic bone, sacroiliac, coccyx, groin, buttocks, legs, feet

  • Perineal, genital and anal pain

  • Pain during sexual relations

  • Varicose veins (dilated veins) in the vaginal area

  • Leakage/leakage of urine (urinary incontinence) with effort (e.g. coughing, sneezing, exercise)

  • Involuntary loss of gas and/or stool (fecal incontinence)

  • Difficulty holding on to urinate or have a bowel movement

  • Frequent urination

  • Difficulty urinating

  • Difficulty and/or pain with bowel movements

  • Constipation, hemorrhoids

  • Weakness of the pelvic floor

  • Hypotonicity (too relaxed) of the pelvic floor

  • Hypertonicity of the pelvic floor (muscles too tense)

  • Difficulty feeling the pelvic floor

  • Breathing problems

 

In women after childbirth

  • Lumbar, pelvic, sacroiliac, pubic, coccygeal, leg and foot pain

  • Perineal, genital and anal pain

  • Pain during sexual relations

  • Scarring (painful and/or not very flexible) following a perineal tear, episiotomy or caesarean section

  • Urine leakage/leakage (urinary incontinence) with effort (e.g. coughing, sneezing, exercise)

  • Urgent urges (urinary urgency and/or urge incontinence)

  • Involuntary loss of gas and/or stool (fecal incontinence)

  • Difficulty holding on to urinate or have a bowel movement

  • Frequent urination

  • Difficulty urinating

  • Difficulty and/or pain with bowel movements

  • Constipation, hemorrhoids

  • Weakness of the pelvic floor
